Missouri

upgraded.

The 327 was complete rebuilt, when the car
was restored it’s over 400 Hp, runs really good, uses regular
unleaded pump gas. It has roller
rockers , gear drive timing gears, double humped heads, cam, new
Edelbroc 4 barrel carburetor & Edelbroc aluminum intake, stainless
fan shroud, MSD ignition, braded hoses, chrome air cleaner, valve
covers, and alternator.
Headers and flow masters 40 mufflers dual
exhaust out the back. This car sounds fantastic idling, or running
through the gears. In prides every once in a while I push the
clutch in and tap the accelerator the whole crowd loves it, this
car has an amazing sound.
Click
on this youtube link to hear and see this car run. I ran it
through the gears so you could get a sense of the running and feel
of the car. Its not how I normally drive it, its nice and it gets
attention just running it easy.

Borg Warner Super T 10 4 speed high
performance aluminum transmission
new seals, 11" clutch pressure plate throw out bearing
New drive shaft, and adjustable panhard bar used to adjust
rear differential assembly to keep in center of car.
This
car has a higher gear ratio nice for traveling on highway making
it petty good on gas car, yet it will set you back in your seat
while running threw the gears and it sounds great
In fourth gear (55 mph @ 2400 rpm)-(60 mph @
2500 rpm)-(70 mph @ 3000 rpm).
At 4000 Rpm (first gear 39 Mph) - (second
gear 58 Mph)-(third gear 75 Mph)-(fourth gear 93 Mph)
I ran it up to 5000 rpm in second gear was
already going 72 mile per.
I used
my GPS for the information above and discovered the speed odometer
speed was not correct it read faster than the car was actually
traveling. It has a newer speedometer cable; I took out the
plastic gear drive that drives the speedometer. I did some
research and they make different color plastic gear drive for
different gear ratio and tire size. I have not taken the time to
find out what plastic gear is needed so the speed odometer will be
correct. It will need a new plastic drive gear. Odometer was
showing 67,628 miles when I removed the gear.
The frame is a factory boxed frame, rust
free, no damage or repair.
Body is original, it is rust free, has not
had any patch or panels work done to this car. It is very
straight, doors, hood, and trunk, open and shut perfectly; all the
seams, body line on the car fit and look good. You can look down
the side of this car and it is straight. There is a few very small
areas that the paint on the surface is starting to blister or
crake a little. The close up pitchers shows these areas hard to
see as their small.
Tinted windshield, with custom chrome decal
BAD SS IMPALA, can remove easily if wanted.
All glass is nice, no
scratches, chips, or scrapes, halogen head lights
Nice Keystone Classic Chrome Wheels. Rears
are 15" x 10" Grand Prix Radial GP, P 245/60SR15 tires. Fronts are
15" x 7" Grand Prix Radial GP, P217/70 SR15 tires. The tires are
getting some weather checking as the car has only been driven
occasionally in the summer.
Original radio still in it original place in
the dash, there is a stereo located in glove box, remote
controlled, 10 CD changer and speaker box located in the trunk.
This car has always been stored inside since
it was restored, includes a nice car cover that I covered the car
with in my garage, also includes the size large coat in the
pitcher, it goes well with the car.
I have
purchased nice pair of dual rear antenna’s they are included with
the car. I installed a real nice sporty steering wheel. The
original steering wheel and center in nice condition and is
included with he car.
I really enjoyed driving this car and taking
to car shows it looks really nice and no matter where you’re are,
you gets a lot of look, smiles, thrums up and nice comments. I
decided to sell so I will be able to Finnish my 1932 Hupmobile
street rod project.
