1995 Volvo L70C wheel loader serial number V11816.
We are listing for a friend.
This machine was used at his plywood manufacturing
operation. It was
used with the quick attached forks to haul material in and out
of his plywood manufacturing company.
They also used the loader and bucket to carry sawdust /
wood chips out of the building and pile it outside, and load
semi trailers when they would come in.
This loader has 18,000 hours with over twice as many idle
hours than actual working hours, and has never worked hard doing
this kind of work.
It has 20.5-25 radial tires, and the tread is worn from running
and turning on the hard surfaces.
If you want like-new tires, you could have these
recapped. The front
fenders are missing, and all the other sheet metal is good.
The original paint on the machine is starting to fade a
little. They did
some touch up painting on this machine as you can see in the
pictures. The pins
and bushings on the loader arms are worn and need to be
replaced. The center pins of the machine seem good.
The glow heater does not seem to work, so on really cold
days we give a shot of ether and it starts right up. Engine runs
good and clean.
Transmission and brakes work good.
On really cold days the hydraulics seem slow, but once
the machine warms up, they work good and strong.
This machine is very clean with practically no rust.
The engine is a 122 hp Volvo turbo charged diesel, which
are very efficient on fuel.
The machine weighs approximately 24,000 pounds.
It also has a hydraulic quick connect with a 2 yard
general-purpose bucket with bolt-on cutting edge.
This machine is equipped with a factory third valve and
is plumbed down the boom, with the control lever next to the
bucket control levers.
This is a pretty clean and straight machine. This is a
very nice sized loader, small enough to work in tighter areas,
easy to drive down road or load on a trailer to move, yet large
enough to load even semi dump trailers.

additional $4,000.00 is a heavy-duty snow pusher built for this
loader. It has a
Volvo style quick connect on the back snow pusher for pushing
and piling snow. The
pusher measures 10’ Wide with 5’ sides.
You can plow over 10 times as fast as using a regular
bucket.
Also for sale is a set of log forks with hydraulic top clamp.
They are set up for this loader with the quick connect
and the hydraulics for $3,000.00
